Marple Yard, Church Street, Marple
H2O will shortly be submitting a planning application for an exciting new canalside development in Marple, adjacent to the Macclesfield Canal and close to the junction of the Peak Forest Canal.
H2O has been working closely over a number of years with Stockport Borough Council, Marple Civic Society and New Horizons Trip Boat to develop a scheme that will give the waterside a new lease of life.
- The refurbishment and modernisation of a two storey Grade II listed stone canal warehouse for conversion.
- The construction of seven attractive, new 3-bedroom stone townhouses, each benefitting from a private garden overlooking the canal and a communal residents area by the waterside. Each home will also have two designated car parking spaces.
- A new storage facility will be incorporated into the design for the New Horizons Trip Boat together with a new waterside facilities block for boaters.
Subject to planning H2O could be on site by Spring 2017 to commence development.
